Dear Customer,
Further to our advisory yesterday, the Ambassador Bridge linking Windsor and Detroit remains partially closed and obstructed to traffic flow for a third day due to protests.
The group is protesting a mandate that requires drivers entering Canada to be fully vaccinated or agree to testing and quarantine protocols.
We are now being advised that wait times to cross back into Canada at the Blue Water Bridge in Sarnia have increased substantially as a result of the re-direction of traffic flow.
Cargo delays should be expected.
We continue to monitor the situation at both border crossing locations and will continue to update as new information becomes available.
