ILWU StrikeTuesday, July 4, 2023

||
Dear Customer,
Please note that over 7,400 B.C. ILWU members walked off the job Saturday morning after bargaining attempts with a federal mediator had been unsuccessful.
Both sides remain at the negotiation table as recently as Monday morning.
The strike affects more than 30 B.C. ports including Vancouver and Prince Rupert.
Both CN and CP rail have announced capacity limitations on international cargo originating at all Canadian and US terminal points heading west.
At current, CP Rail is accepting westbound dry cargo, however this is subject to change at any moment without notice.
We are working to clarify CN’s communications and will provide further update soonest.
As previously communicated, cargo delays should be expected.
Sincerely,
HENSALL GLOBAL LOGISTICS |
