MSC Price Announcement - Market Update

Dear Customer,

 

MSC (Mediterranean Shipping Company) has announced that they will apply a general rate increase from Canada to various shipping destinations. Amount/Region and Effective date outlined below:

 

MSC – GRI

  • East Med (Cyprus, Egypt, Lebanon)

  • Middle East and the Red Sea (UAE, Bahrain, Iraq, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Sudan, Djibouti and Jordan)

  • Greece and Turkey

  • Black Sea (Bulgaria, Georgia, Moldova, Romania, Russia and Ukraine)

  • US $ 100/20’ and US $ 150/40’

  • Syria

  • EUR 100/20’ and EUR 150/40’

  • UK/NWC and Scan/Baltic

  • US $ 200/TEU

  • Effective April 15th 2021 sailing date

We will continue to monitor this situation and will advise if there are any changes/mitigation/retraction with this market direction from MSC. As such, it is imperative that you start to incorporate these increases into your short-term pricing strategies as increases will be passed on accordingly.
