Dear Customer,
Unifor announced today that the approximately 1000 mechanical and maintenance employees of Local 101R CPKC have voted in favour of strike action, with 99% of members supporting the mandate.
Members are now in a legal strike position as of 12:01 a.m. EST on January 29, 2025, should an agreement not be reached.
Negotiations between the two parties are expected to continue from January 24 to January 29.
